I completely understand with your whole do your research things. Especially for and exotic pet! I did mine for months before I got my hedgehog and am still researching things. My roommates tell me things I should do with my hedgehog and a lot of them could turn out dangerous, so I always have to explain to them. And also a week after I got my hedgie one of my roommates randomly declared one day she was getting ferrets and has two reserved... how do you just randomly do that one day...

I know, to just wake up and decide you want an animal with doing minimal or even no research just blows my mind. I don’t understand it and sadly, it’s not the people who suffer, but the animals :(
