can anyone help?? my hedgie has really bad dry skin and it was worse when she was quilling, but now shes three and a half months old and stopped so i thought it might get better but it hasnt. i gave her a bath yesterday with baby shampoo and it seemed to help somewhat but it just comes back. how can i help her with her dry skin? she gets her dandruff all over me.
i plan on getting her new food, but could it possibly be her food??
You can buy flax seed oil, vitamin E, or olive oil and drizzle a little bit over her quills. It will help clear up dry skin :)

You seem to carry many pictures of many different hedgehogs. Do you acquire multiple of these sexy little beast?

I patrol the hedgehog and hedgie tags like its a day job. And I have 3 hedgehogs of my own and I love to take picture of the grumpbutts.

So I'll be getting a hedgehog soon, is there anything I should know that's kinda out of the ordinary that you wouldn't expect or would be common knowledge?

Generally male hedges smell more (I’m 99% sure it’s because of stronger smelling urine) but they tend to be gentler and friendlier. Some hedgehogs make weird sounds, like chirps or purring, when they’re happy so don’t be alarmed if you hear something of the sort. Also, just so you know, because I didn’t and what a shock it was, male hedgehog masturbate profusely. Is quite horrifying when you pick them up and your hand comes away sticky, just remember that it’s natural. Those are the only things that came as a surprise to me because I never read anything about them whilst researching hedgehogs. :)
